Seventh Inning “Stretch”

Welcome back to my website & thanks for visiting !

Our Canada Geese have been gathering in flocks for the last month in preparation for their long flight south.  When they finally leave for the winter we will hear them honking through the nights as they take to flight. Right now they are gathering at the marshes and ponds each night and snatching up the last fresh greens of the season during the shortened days.  This flock gathered at a baseball diamond in the neighbourhood, thus the “Seventh Inning Stretch”.  This weekend, the last in October, will likely see the geese starting to leave in a serious way and by mid November the evening skies will once again be quiet.

    It is always nice to hear from you June and that you continue to enjoy the site – keep up with your painting. Send another photo of your latest painting if you like. I could post it on a blog one day beside the photo you used as a reference if you like.

    You have a wonderful website — I am only on dial-up so I cannot stay on line for any lenght of time

    Your website is wonderful — I just love it — I did use your chickadee pictures for my rock paintings and I enjoyed every minute of doing it — thank you for giving me permission to use them
